BSF seizes heroin and Pak SIMs

Ferozepur, March 26, 2017:  The Border Security Force BSF –  personnel claimed to have recovered 1kg heroin and two Pak SIMs of Zone Company, in alignment of BP No.189/M which was concealed beneath the soil near sarkand grooves, in Gajjal Border Out Post area in the Ferozepur sector on Friday.

The value of the seized material is said to be Rs.5 crore in the international market.

In a press release, issued in evening, BSF officials claimed that on a specific information, a special search operation was carried out by BSF troops of the 77 battalion, in the area between the border security fence and the IB. A bottle of green colour, filled with heroin (approx. 1 kg, was recovered from fields ahead of fence, read the release.

Added here, during this year, the BSF has recovered 37.114 kg heroin, including Friday seizure.
