BSF seizes 3.769 kg heroin from near Indo-Pak border
Ferozepur, February 11, 2021: On Thursday, alert Border Security Force troops during search operation ahead of fence seized 3.769 kgs heroin.
In three Plastic bottles filled with Contraband (Approx. 3.110 Kg) suspected to be Heroin in the area of responsibility of 2 Bn BSF, Abohar Sector was found.
Border Security Force troops also seized one packet of contraband (Approx. 522 Gm) suspected to be heroin and in another one packet contraband (Approx. 137 Gm) suspected to be opium ahead of fence during search operations in the area of responsibility of 52 Bn BSF, Abohar Sector.
Vigilant troops of Border Security Force once again thwarted the attempt of Anti-National Elements to push consignment of contraband items into India. During the year 2021, BSF has effected seizures on Punjab Border of Heroin 40.239 kgs including today’s seizure, 3 Indian Border Crosser Apprehended, 11 Pak National Apprehended, one Pak Intruder Killed , 5 Weapon (Different Types), 5 Magazine(Different Types) and 43 Ammunition(Various Calibres).
