BSF recovers heroin packet near Ferozepur International Border
Ferozepur, June 22, 2024: On Friday, during the morning hours, BSF intelligence wing shared information about presence of a narcotics consignment in the border area of district Ferozepur. In response, BSF troops rushed to the spot and carried out an extensive search operation.
During the search, at about 9 AM, troops successfully recovered one packet of suspected heroin (Gross weight- 500 Grams) from a farming field adjacent to village- Maboke of district Ferozepur. The narcotics were wrapped in yellow adhesive tape and one illuminating stick with an improvised ring was also found attached to the packet.
Reliable information and swift action of BSF troops successfully added one more recovery of narcotics consignment smuggled from across the border to its achievement record.
