BSF recovers heroin near Indo-Pak border

Ferozepur, October 19, 2019: The strict vigil of Border Security Force jawans on the Indo-Pak has again thwarted attempt to smuggle in heroin in the Indian Territory in the hands of smugglers, with the recovery of one packet, suspected to be heroin from near Indo-Pak Burji  No.144/4-5 by BSF Ex Adhoc Papa-V in the area border area post area of Rajo Ke.  The value of this consignment is said to be Rs.5 crore in the international market.

India cannot rely on the neighboring country in view of past track records and as per the BSF have planned to purchase the modern infrastructure to keep a close watch on the activities on the border.
