BSF recovers 2 kg heroin dropped by drone near Abohar border

Ferozepur, June 22, 2023: On Thursday, during morning hours, on specific information, a search operation was launched by BSF on the outskirt of Village Jodhawala, District Fazilka.

During the search at about 0645 AM BSF troops recovered a drone and one bag containing two packets of suspected narcotics (Gross weight 2 kg) from the farming field adjacent to  Village Jodhawala.

The recovered drone is a Quadcopter of model DJI Matrice 300 RTK series.  Meanwhile, the vigilant BSF troops once again thwarted the nefarious attempts of smugglers to smuggle contraband through drone.
