BSF organizes Dog Show at JCP Hussainiwala near Indo-Pak border
Ferozepur, January 30, 2025: The Border Security Force (BSF) organized a vibrant cultural programme and dog show at the JCP Hussainiwala.
The event, held from 1530 to 1615 hours, featured a captivating cultural performance by students of Shri Guru Amar Das School. This was followed by an exhilarating dog show, showcasing the skills of 15 dog handlers and their canine companions from the National Training Centre for Dogs (NTCD) Tekanpur.
The programme commenced with a ceremonial bouquet presentation by a BSF dog to the chief guest. The trained dogs then demonstrated their agility, obedience, and tracking abilities, mesmerizing the audience comprising 85 BSF family members, 67 civilians, and 40 school children.
The BSF remains committed to engaging with the local community and promoting cultural exchange. Today’s event was a testament to this endeavour, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and shared enthusiasm among all participants.
