BSF holds Free Medical Camp under Civic Action Program
Ferozepur, March 16, 2024: Border Security Force KMS Wala unit under the supervision of Antaryami Kumar, Commandant 155 BN organised a day- long Free Medical Camp on 16th March 2024, at primary school of bordering Village Gatti Rajoke in the AOR of BOP HKT and under Ferozpur Distt, Punjab.
During the day long medical camp, people suffering from various ailments, including blood pressure, diabetes,fever, eye infection, ENT etc turned up, were provided free medical services by unit medical staff led by Dr Kuldeep Yadav, ACMO BSF, Dr Narendera Health and wellness center Gatti Rajoke and Dr Ashok Kumar, Community health center Mamdot. All patients were provided free medicines.
The program was organised to reach out upto the poor communities living in border areas who could not get sufficient medical administration and due to lack of time and resources they couldn’t visit Ferozepur city or other places. 307 patients from villages like Bhakra, Hazara Singh Wala, Gatti Rajoke, new Gatti Rajoke, Jalloke more, Chudiwala and Chandiwala took advantage of this Medical Camp.
The Local residents in the border areas expressed their gratitude and appreciated the good work done by BSF for their safety, security and well being.
