BSF hands over inadvertent border crosser to Pak Rangers

Ferozepur, June 6, 2022: Border Security Force (BSF) 118 Bn troops, on Sunday,  at about 1415 hrs, in Ferozepur Sector apprehended one  Pakistan national, while he crossed the border and entered Indian territory.

During questioning, it came to notice that the apprehended Pak national is a juvenile and he had crossed over to Indian Territory inadvertently. Nothing objectionable was recovered from him.

BSF approached Pakistan Rangers on June 5, 2022, and lodged a protest on the matter. Thereafter, the Pakistan national being an inadvertent border crosser was handed over to Pak Rangers at about 1957 hrs, on humanitarian grounds.
