BSF arrests Pakistan citizen near Indo-Pak Border
So far 9 Pak nationals handed back to Pakistan
Ferozepur, August 20, 2015: A Pakistani nationa who was arrested by Border Security Force (BSF), trying to enter the India side while strolling near Kalia BOP was repatriated to Pakistani Rangers after investigation and identification.
Despite strain relations and number of violations on Indo-Pak border from the Pakistan side, India has shown as gesture of goodwill to hand over the Pak nationals after proper verification and investigation.
Giving this information, R.S.Kataria, PRO, BSF Punjab Frontier said, during patrolling near BOP Kalia in Ferozaepur sector, the BSF jawans arrested one Pakistani national. During investigation, he disclosed his name as Mohammad Ayub son Liaqat Ali resident of Waigal, District Kasur.
He further said, Ayub has stated that due to his differene with the parents, he inadvertently entered the Indian Territory. After proper investigation and verification, he was handed over to Pakistan Rangers.
PRO said, about 9 Pakistani nationals have been repatriated during the year 2015 by the Punjab Frontier of BSF who had entered the Indian side without any intention accidently.
