BSF 29 Bn seizes 2.159 kg heroin from near Punjab border
Ferozepur, April 17, 2021: On Saturday, an intelligence-based search operation carried out by astute Border Security Force troops seized 2 Packets of contraband (approx- 2.150 KGs) suspected to be Heroin in the area of responsibility of 29 Bn BSF, Ferozepur Sector.
Vigilant troops of Border Security Force once again foiled the attempt of Anti-National Elements to push consignment of contraband items into India.
During the year 2021, BSF has effected seizures on Punjab Border – Heroin 200.195 kg including today’s seizure, 3 Indian border crosser apprehended, 11 Pak national apprehended, 2 Pak intruder killed, weapons 6, magazines of different types, 146 ammunition of various calibers 146 and 3 Pak mobile phones.
