Breaking: Breach in Gang Canal in Ferozepur, water starts entering villages, war-footing work on to plug

Ferozepur, August 29, 2019:  Due to over flow of water, today morning, a breach was noticed in the Gang Canal near village Luthar from Hussainiwala Head Works and entered in the fields of the Luthar village up to three to four feet and started hitting the adjoining areas.

Immediately on getting the news, the Deputy Commissioner, Chander Gaind, SSP Vikas S.Soni reached the spot and started war-footing to plug the breach and would be under control.
