BJP demands action against Ravneet Bittu for his controversial statement
Ferozepur, December 30, 2020: Surinder Singh Bagge Ke Pippal, President, BJP Ferozepur along with party leaders submitted a memorandum to the police for taking action against the controversial statement by Congress leader Ravneet Bittu. Later they burn his effigy in front of the police complex.
He has demanded registration of FIR against Congress MP from Ludhiana Ravneet Singh Bittu for his alleged controversial statement that there will be loads of dead bodies on roads, if the Central Government does not agree to the farmers’ demands.
Speaking to the media persons, Surinder Singh Bagge Ke Pippal said, Today an application has been given to SSP Ferozepur, in absentia to GS Cheema SP Ferozepur, for registration of a case against Ravneet Bittu.
Accusing the Congress of conspiring to break down the communication system in the borer state, he said, It is unfortunate that Congress party is trying to disturb the peaceful atmosphere in the State. In the protest, we will also burn the effigy of Ravneet Bittu, he added.
In the state more than 1,600 communication towers have been damaged and such elements may block roads and rails, paralyze toll plazas, said Davinder Bajaj, former BJP President, Ferozepur district.
G S Cheema SP Ferozepur said, we have received the representation and further action after studying the contents will be taken in consultation with the senior officers on the controversial statement of Ravneet Singh Bittu to the extent that in case no action is taken by December 3, the consequences will be dangerous.
