Bhullar SAD(A) candidate from Ferozepur to raise voice for opening Hussainiwala border
Ferozepur, April 9, 2024: With time, since the announcement of the Lok Sabha elections in Punjab on June 1, the political parties are coming forward to announce their candidates. The first one to announce is Simranjit Singh Maan, MP from Sangrur head of Shiromani Akali Dal(Amritsar).
Bhupinder Singh Bhullar, the father of the slain gangster’s father, who had joined Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar), has been announced as an MP candidate from Ferozepur. His son Jaiplal Bhullar, along with another gangster, was gunned down in an encounter with police in Kolkata in 2021 who had more than 40 criminal cases against him in Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan. He is a retired Inspector of Punjab Police. Besides Mann’s son Emaan Singh from the Amritsar seat and Harpal Singh Baler from Khadoor Sahib have been fielded in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Holding a press conference at his residence here today, Bhullar said, I have been fielded as a candidate in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and appeal to the people of the constituency to vote for him and his party.
Talking about his agenda under the SAD(A) party, Bhullar said he would raise his voice for the development of the constituency with a special focus on opening of Hussainiwala and Suleman borders for trade purposes and setting up industries. Besides, industries would also be set up in border districts, to give employment to the youths who will come back from the drug world. We will bring back the youths on the right track, who had gone on the wrong paths because of a dirty system.
