Bhagwant Mann addresses Punjab-Inqlab Rally in Ferozepur – Wished Sukhbir Badal to contest from Jalalabad
Ferozepur, November 30, 2016: In his 40 minutes speech at Punjab-Inqlab Rally in Ferozepur today in favour of Narinder Singh Sandha candidate for Aam Aadmi Party from Ferozepur City, conveyed his message through his funny speech, to support the candidates of AAP to end the corrupt government led by Badals and providing 25 lakhs job to the unemployed youths of Punjab. AAP candidates from Guruharsahai – Dr.Malkit Singh Thind and Mohan Singh Phalianwala from Ferozepur Rural along with their supporters were also present on this occasion. Bhagwant Mann, artist-turned-politician, MP from Sangrur reached at the rally by 2.30 pm, late by 4.30 hrs and the moment he starred addressing the huge gathering, there was a silence among the audience as they were anxious to listen to his satires against Akali Dal and Congress through his tit-bits. In his starting words, Mann said, “I have come not to talk about which is not possible rather which is possible. We write in the manifestos only what we can do”. Speaking on demonetization around 80 deaths in the country, he said, we too are against the black money, but it should have been implemented properly as the common man is suffering to withdrawn his own money from the banks. Attacking on Badals, Mann said, “Badals’ only agenda is to come in power but why they are afraid of announcing the candidature of Sukhbir Badal from Jalalabad”. Punjab is dipped in marshland and world is watching its outcome in the coming elections, he added. He reminded the people not to see the buttons EVM machines with party symbol while casting the votes but select the candidate which is available in the public as the future of youths is in your hands. Confirming the support of Punjabi NRIs settled in abroad, he said, through they are working on the foreign land but their minds are with the parental land for changing the good governance system. Directly attacking on both the major political parties – Akali Dal and BJP, Mann said, it is crystal clear now that Akali Dal and Congress are mixed in contesting the coming Assembly elections as is evident from the language of both these parties speaking against AAP but not each other. Targeting Congress, Mann said that the congress party is breathing its last and about to die. He alleged that both SAD and Congress are allies behind the drape and both parties are scared of AAP’s growing popularity. Mann said that it was the responsibility of Amarinder Singh, who is MP from Amritsar and Sher SinghGhubaya, MP from Ferozepur, to raise the voice of the border farmers in the parliament but both failed to perform their duties. “Eventually, it was me who raised their (border farmer’s) voice in the parliament and demanded compensation of Rs. 10,000 for them”, said Mann. He claimed that AAP government in Delhi has fulfilled all the promises made by them in their manifesto. Narinder Sandha, AAP candidate from Ferozepur (Urban) and Mohan Singh Phallianwala, AAP candidate from Ferozepur (Rural) said that the people of Punjab earlier had no option but with the advent of AAP, they have a good option. On this occasion, Malkit Singh Thind, AAP candidate from Guruharsahai, Jagdip Singh Sandhu, AAP candidate from Gidderbaha, Gurmit Brar, Jaskirat Kaur, Dr. Pardeep Rana, Satnam Paul Kamboj and other AAP leaders were also present.
