Banned items found in 2 balls thrown inside jail

Ferozepur, May 16,5,2021:  Banned  items like headphones and opium, were found in the two balls thrown inside the jail premises.

As per the information, on Saturday, two balls of yellow colour were thrown unidentified mischievous persons and case under Section 52-1, 52 Prisons Act and 18, 61,85 NDPS Act has been registered at City police station, on the complaint of Sukhwant Singh, Assistant Superintendent. On opening of the balls, two headphones and approximately 30 gm opium was found.  Balraj Singh has been appointed as IO to investigate the matter.
