Balwinder Singh Dhaliwal assumes charge as DC Ferozepur
Ferozepur, July 18, 2018: Balwinder Singh Dhaliwal today assumed the charge as Deputy Commissioner, Ferozepur.
Added here, Balwinder Singh Dhaliwal is 2005 batch IAS cadre. He has already served as DC at Ferozepur and holding the post for the second time. Earlier, he was serving as Deputy Commissioner in Mansa and has been posted in various important posts including State Transport Commissioner (STC) Punjab, Deputy Commissioner Tarn Taran.
He was given a guard of honor by Punjab Police personnel on arrival at the Circuit House before taking over the charge.
After taking over the charge, he said that the development of the district and the service to the people will be his first priority. He said that he was happy that he had got the opportunity to serve the martyrs land at Ferozepur.
He further said that he would work for the betterment of the people of the district.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner was also welcomed by Naseeb Singh PA to Rana Gurmeet Singh Sodhi, Cabinet Minister, at the DAC complex.
