Ferozepur, April 11, 2016 : Music is the only language in the world, which works to unite the humanity raising itself above the caste, religion, language and regionalism and helps in living a stress-free life, said Dr.Rajesh Mohan of Faridkot – a renowned gazal singer and writer while addressing the audience, at a function organized by ‘Sur Aangan’ at Home for the Blinds in association with Agreed Foundation, Life Group and Senior Citizens Forum.
Expressing his concern over the vulgarity in singing which has led down our rich culture and to encourage the standardized music is the need of the hour.
Present among other members of all the sponsored organizes were – Dharampal Bansal, Chairman, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nursing College, Dr.Pardeep Aggarwal, SMO, Davinder Bajaj, District President, BJP, Ashok Behal, Secretary Red Cross participated specially in the programme.
After lighting the traditional lamp before the portrait of Saraswati, Prof. Anil Gupta and Dr.Satinder Singh formally welcomed the audience and artists.
Dr.Rajesh Mohan who is partially blind and product of Home for the Blind Ferozepur improve his academic qualification after acquiring the schooling to the level of doctorate. Dr.Rajesh Mohan apart from in India, is well listened Lahore and Ismlamabad radio stations who has also number of compositions of gazals to his credit. He is famous with his couplet over the relations between India and Pakistan – ‘Jo Khat Sarhad Par Se Aane The Who, Kateeli Taar Mein Uljhe Huae Hain’ – The letters which were to come across the border (Pakistan) – Are entangled with the barbered wire, shared Kamal Sharma an educationist and fan of Prof.Dr.Rajesh Mohan.
A good number of music lovers were also present in the programme. Kulbhushan Gautam, President, Senior Citizen Forum appreciating the melodious voice of Dr.Rajesh Mohan honoured him along with the other artists who also participated in the programme.
