Ashish Kumar, DIG Railways gets Indian Police Medal
Ferozepur, June 8, 2022: Ashish Kumar, DIG Railways presently posted at Ferozepur has been awarded Indian Police Medal for his meritorious services during his posting as Sr.DSC, RPF, Ferozepur, announced on Republic Day 2021 and received on May 27th at Vigyan Bhavan, from Shri Ashwini Vaishnav, Minister of Railways.
Ashwini, born on January 3, 1974, MA, M.Phil in political science from Delhi University, joined the services on December 12, 2000, after clearing the UPSC. He worked in the Barkhana area in Jharkhand, Kanpur, Trichy in Tamil Nadu, and Kota in Rajasthan and is presently posted as DIG-cum-Chief Security Commissioner, South Eastern Railway Kolkota West Bengal.
The distinction conferred on Ashish Kumar was applauded by the railway officers and officials and wished him a success in the times to come.
