Army Recruitment Rally receives overwhelming response in Ferozepur

Ferozepur, August 31, 2018:  The Army Recruitment Rally received the overwhelming response and around 22,000 candidates are expected to the screened during the recruitment process from August 27 to September 1.

Army recruitment rally was organized at Ferozepur Cantt in the ground located at Captain Sunder Singh Stadium Ferozepur Cantt. This rally is covering candidates belonging to Ferozepur, Bhatinda. Faridkot and Muktsar districts.

The rally started on August 27, 2018, will continue up to September 1, 2018.

As per the information, the rally has the good response from the four districts and in all around 22,000 candidates is likely to be screened during the recruitment period

Brig Jagdeep Dahiya, DDG Rtg visited the Rally site, on 27 and 28 Aug 2018 and took stock of the arrangements and conduct of the rally. He interacted with candidates at various stages of their tests.

Successful candidates will be inducted into the various arms and services of the Army. This will go a long way in meeting the aspirations of youths of the area, who wish to join the Army and serve the nation. The recruitment process in totally computerized and is absolutely transparent. Recruitment is carried out by five independent and separate boards of officers. Special emphasis is being laid to make all candidates understand this process. Thus they don't fall prey to touts and undesirable elements.

The rally is being organized by Headquarters Recruiting Zone (Punjab and J&K). The overall conduct of this rally is under the arrangements of local army formation with assistance from civil administration of Ferozepur District.

The positive and forthcoming support rendered by Deputy Commissioner and Senior Superintendent of Police. Ferozepur in terms of crowd control security arrangement, medical support and provision of water and sanitation for the candidates have been appreciated by all
