Another youth becomes victim of  New Deep Bus in Ferozepur

Ferozepur, August 1,2016 : Today, another youth becomes victim of  New Deep Bus in Ferozepur, identified as Avtar Singh (35) son of Nachhatar Singh of Village Manian Wala in Muktsar District.

He became the latest victim of the New Deep Bus Service which has been involved in series of mishaps in the recent times.

According to information, in today’s incident, a bus belonging to this company was going to Amritsar (PB 030 J-1137) allegedly hit the victim who was driving his bike. On losing the control and bike hit the road and  Avtar Singh died on the spot.

The lady who was riding pillion on the bike was also badly injured and was later referred to Faridkot Medical College. The incident took place near Village Behak situated on Zira-Amaritsar road.

In the meantime, the driver of the bus fled the scene and is still reportedly absconding. When contacted Davinder Parkash, SHO, Zira Sadar Police station said that the police has impounded the bus and a chase has been launched to nab the erring driver.
