All formalities stand completed by railways to start work on RUB at BTW : Kamal Sharma

Other demands include reschedule of Fzr-Chd training timings & regular Fzr-Haridwar train

Ferozepur, May 9, 2016:  Kamal Shrma, former Punjab BJP President, today had a special meeting with Anuj Parkash, Divisional Rail Manager, Ferozepur with regard to the local railway problems.  Er.DPS Kharbanda, Deputy Commissioner, Ferozepur, Sundeep Singh Garha, SDM and Ashwani Grover, President, Municipal Council were also present on this occasion.

After the meeting, Kamal Sharma said, a special meeting was held with the DRM Ferozepur with regard to the long pending problems of the people relating to railways.  The major issues discussed were – Rail Under Bridge (RUB) at Basti Tankan Wali (BTW), rescheduling of Ferozepur-Chandigarh train timings from 7 am to 5 am or 5.30 am for the convenience of the people and introducing regular Ferozepur-Haridawar train instead of week ends on Tuesday.

Kamal Sharma said, DRM assured that shortly all these problems will be solved.  So far as RUB is concerned, the required amount has already been handed over to the railways while for the remaining two demands, the matter will be taken up by the DRM with the headquarters at Delhi.

Apart from others, Aushutosh Panth, ADRM and other senior officers of the railway were present.
