Ferozepur passed its peak, moving towards flattening curve with 7 Corona +ve cases
Ferozepur, October 6, 2020: The Ferozepur district which witnessed a severe surge in Covid-19 cases in the past, with 3885 positive cases with 107 deaths since the outbreak of virus has surpassed its peak and is moving towards flattening the curve.
Today only 7 Corona positive cases and one death has been reported in Ferozepur district.
As per the latest report, 44,536 samples were taken for testing since the outbreak of coronavirus in the district. Out of this, 40,184 have been tested negative, 3885 positive, 3284 recovered, 494 active cases and results of 467 samples are still awaited. However, ther had been recovery of three positive patients also. The total deaths in the district so far are 107 including one of today of 43 years old male of Bhakra in Block Mamdot of Ferozepur.
DC Ferozepur Gurpal Singh Chahal said, it is now important to maintain the guidelines of the health department on medical protocols to completely win over the corona virus, to maintain the curve so that peak does not hit again.
