Viral of audio of MLA-SHO: To maintain discipline in police force, report to immediate senior officer for any problem:  IGP

Ferozepur, November 24, 2018: To maintain discipline in police force, IG Police, Ferozepur Range in a communication to all the SSPs in Ferozepur Range – Fazilka, Faridkot, Faridkot and Moga has advised that in case any police officer/official is facing any problem or having any grievance then he/she can report the same to his/her immediate Supervisory Officer. 

These instructions have been issued with the viral of audio of a conversation between Davinder Singh Ghubaya, MLA Fazilka and L/SHO City Fazilka SI Lovemeet Kaur, on social media.

IG has mentioned in the letter under reference that the viral audio is creating the bad image of police in general public for the reason that police personnel take social media channel for redressal of their grievances rather than approaching their senior officers. Moreover, approaching social media directly by any police personnel is the violation of rules and discipline of the police force.
