Qureshi Chairman Bhagat Singh Memorial Foundation congratulates Hindus on Diwali

Ferozepur, November 8, 2018: Conveying his thanks to Prime Minister Narinder Modi and Ajay Bisaria Indian High Commissioner for Pakistan at Islamabad, for Diwali gift of sweets, Imtiaz Rashid Qureshi, Chairman, Bhagat Singh Memorial Foundation in Pakistan – who is fighting in the court of law to prove the innocence of Shaheed Bhagat Singh and naming of Shadman Chowk as Bhagat Singh Chowk in Lahore – said, Diwali is also a symbol of happiness and passion, brotherhood and unity.

A box of traditional delights by one of the favourite sweetmakers – Haldiram's of Delhi was presented to Qureshi.

Qureshi said it was pleasurable moments on getting the invitation with sweets from Ajay Bisaria, High Commissioner, at High Commission of India Islamabad.

He said such gestures would bring both the countries close to each other to normalize the relations.
