Petrol Dealers Association to oppose Daily Price Control Policy
Ferozepur, July 1, 2017: The Petroleum Dealers Association in the country have decided to express their resentment over “Daily Price Control Policy” and July 5 will be “No Purchase, No Sale Day”.
After attending the state level meeting at Jagraon, Sat Pal Khera, President, Punjab Petroleum Dealers Assocation – PPDA, Ajay Aggarwal, General Secretary, Pardeep Narula, Shyam Sundar Aggarwal members informed that the petroleum dealers are in problem with the introduction of daily price control policy for the last 14 days.
The said, the petroleum companies are paying a nominal commission on the sale of products and now with the introduction of DPCP they will have to face another burden in the event of reduction in price against the purchase price.
Khera said, to roll back this policy, All India Petroleum Dealers Association in its meeting at Delhi on June 28 followed by state meeting on June 29, it has been decided that all petroleum dealers will observe July 5 as Non Purchase Day and no dealer will purchase oil from any depot.
He further said, the protest will be followed by No Purchase No Sale Day on July 12.
The Association has demanded from the oil companies, to solve the problems of the dealers.
