Fire gutted junk shop in Mamdot near Ferozepur

Ferozepur, May 6, 2017: A fire broke out in a junk shop in border village Mamdot near Ferozepur today.

The cause of fire could not be ascertained immediately.  However, the plastic was dumped in the shop situated near the Cooperative Bank causing heavy loss to the owner. 

With winds fanning the ablaze, the fire could not be controlled despite efforts by the local citizens and fire tenders even for four hours.

However, patwari and kanugo reached the spot to take stock of the situation and further action.
