Health Workers to court arrest on October 27 at Mohali : Luthra
Ferozepur, October 22, 2016: Against the anti-employees policy of the Punjab Government, the employees of para-medical and health department, under the banner of Punjab and UT Employees Sangharsh Committee will court arrest in the protest rally at Mohali on October 27 by expressing the solidarity to give a befitting reply to the government.
Giving this information, Ravinder Luthra, State Convenor said, the demands of the employees include – regularization of employees working through the out-sourcing, filling up of vacant posts on regular department, promotion of Class III to Class IV, constitution of 6th Pay Commission, release of DA in one installment etc.
He further said, the government is unnecessary confusing the employees in regularizing the adhoc employees by organizing Cabinet Meetings, forming Sub-committees and passing the time for the announcement of Model Code of Conduct for the Assembly elections, with a view of delay the issue till the formation of next government.
He also shared that there is a great resentment among the employees and they are now ready to ‘do or die’ struggle with the government.’
