Biography of martyrs be made a part of syllabus in educational institutions : Amit Azad
Ferozepur, September 26, 2016: Amit Azad, grandson of revolutionary Chander Shekhar Azad during his visit to this border town today shared in his emotional words the sacrifices of martyrs – Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev, B.K.Dutt, Chander Shekhar Azad, Udham Singh and several others but regretted that the present generation is now aware about their sacrifices. He demanded from the Central government to make the biography of martyrs a part of syllabus in our educational institutions besides publishing of currency depicting pictures of them.
On joining the the Bikers Rally organized by Shaheed Bhagat Sngh Brigade to lit the spirit of patriotism amongst the youths who are the future of our country and have high expectations from them, Amit Azad said, “2000 members from all across the country will join this rally. We will reach India Gate, New Delhi on 28th and will join the other rally which has been started from Jalianwala Bagh, Amritsar from today. Yadwinder Singh, the great grand nephew of revolutionary Bhagat Singh will be leading the other rally”.
He further said that this rally which has been started today, will pass through various districts of Punjab and Haryana including Muktsar, Malout, Sirsa, Fatehabad, Rohtak, Hissar, Bhiwani”.
Later, the members of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Brigade also paid a visit to the old double story building which is considered to be a hideout of Bhagat Singh. hundreds of enthusiastic youths raised slogans of “Inquilab Zindabad” on this occasion.
