Pb. State Distt. (DC) Office Employees Union to proceed on 2 days pen down strike on 27 & 29 September
Ferozepur, September 23, 2016 : The state committee of the Punjab State District (DC ) Office Employees Union have decided toproceed on two days’ pen down strike in the state on 27 and 29th September, 2016 and sit on dharna to press for their long pending demands.
Sonu Kashyap, District General Secretary informed that the demands of the employees include related to financial and general demands – merging of DA in the salary, appointing of staff for the next Pay Commission for submission of report, ACP Coommittee Report, next higher scale on complete of 4-9-14 years, removal of anomalies, bringing the employes joined after 2004 under pension scheme, restoring of withdrawn benefits, withdrawing of black laws and regularisation of temporary employees – for which the Punjab Government is not serious.
Giving a warning to the government, he said, in case the demands of the Union are not accepted, all the employees in the state will gehrao the residence of the Minister on September 30 to register their protest.
