Under Digital India campaign, ‘Parchar Vans’ flagged off in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, June 30, 2016: Under Digital India campaign started by Narendera Modi, Prime Minister, today three Digital Parchar Van was flagged off by Joginder Singh Jindu, MLA and Er.DPS Kharbanda, Deputy Commissioner, to disseminate information about the SAD-BJP government’s achievements, policies, plans and programmes at 50 rural and urban places in the district. Vineet Kumar, ADC was also present on this occasion.
Talking to media persons, MLA and DC said, “Technical Experts will accompany these DPVs and cover two places in a day, starting from Bazidpur. There will be display of various achievements of the government through slide shows like public service centres, digi locker, aadhar card, e-post, e-hospital and various other achievements. The people will also be put wiser about the various initiatives under taken by the Punjab Government regarding online administrative services, e-district, service centres etc.
The programme would start from 1s July and on the first day it would start from Talwandi Bhai in Ferozepur rural constituency, from Valtoha in Zira constituency and from village Saide Ke in Guruharsahi constituency.
