Curfew: Police book one person under Epidemic Diseases Act

Ferozepur, April 25, 2020:  The Ferozepur police have booked one person under Epidemic Diseases Act 1897 Section 3, for loading video on social with mischievous intention by gathering the people despite curfew and spreading false rumors.

A tip-off was received by the police about the making of video by the alleged accused despite the imposition of curfew for making it viral on social media. The accused has been identified as Jagtar Singh of village Feroke under Sadar police station Zira and booked under various sections of IPC 188, 269, 270, 336 and 505 and Section 3 of Epidemic Diseases Act 1897
