Municipal Council undertakes sanitization drive on daily basis at public places in Ferozepur
EO appeals to keep surroundings neat and clean
Ferozepur, April 3, 2020: The Municipal Council team under the tutelage of Parminder Singh Sukhija, Executive Officer, headed by Sukhpal Singh, Gurinder Singh, Simranjeet Singh and Amandeep Programme Coordinator are undertaking the sanitization drive in the city on daily basis in different slum areas.
Today, the sanitization work as done at Basti Boria, Basti Bhatia, Shanti Nagar, Basti Sunva, Basti Shekhan, Basi Nizamdin, Basti Kahnu and Loco Shed Road.
The local areas covered were residential, commercial government offices, central jail, Markfed office, Sabzi Mandi and cooked food centres.
The sanitization campaign is going on to give a fight to the coronavirus, said EO adding so far there is no coronavirus case in Ferozepur.
He also appealed to the people to keep their surroundings neat and clear and hand over the garbage to the persons deputed for the purpose in a covered envelopes.
