Ferozepur scribes celebrate Press Club’s foundation day

Ferozepur, December 11, 2020: On Friday, Press Club Ferozepur celebrated its 8th Foundation Day with fervor and zeal. All the prominent journalists from Ferozepur district attended the path and bhog of “Shri Sukhmani Sahib Ji”.

Floral tributes were offered remembering the departed journalist Parminder Singh alias Kaka, followed by felicitation of veteran journalists.

Arun Choudhary, DPRO and the office bearers of Press Clubs of the district, were presented ‘siropa’ as a mark of respect.

Praying for the welfare of the club members and their families, Jaswinder Singh Sandhu, President said that now the publishing of news with credibility and quickly in this digital era has become a challenge for the journalists.  He asked all to maintain ethics, morality and discipline in their professional duties to keep their passion for journalism intact.

He said, the Club will continue to raise its voice for the welfare of its growing fraternity by upholding truth and justice without bias.
