74 COVID-19 +ve, 4 deaths surfaced in Ferozepur

Ferozepur, January 22, 2022:  Another 74 COVId-10 positive cases have been reported in Ferozepur with four deaths.

While the active positive cases tally is 724, the death toll is 513 including four reported today.

As per the health bulletin, the four deaths reported are of the age group of 18 to 64 years, two in Ferozepur Urban, and one each in Kassoana, Ferozshah Blocks.

There had also been the recovery of 203 positive cases.  However, the results of 544 samples are still awaited.

So far, 3,44,648 samples were taken since the outbreak of coronavirus in this part of the country, out of which 3,27,729 were tested negative, 16,175 positive, and 14,938 recovered.

In the meantime, the vaccination campaign has been speeding up as per the guidelines of the Election Commission also for hundred percent vaccinations before the assembly elections. As of now, 8,61,456 have been given the vaccination dose to the 60 plus age group, 45 plus, HCW, FLW, lactating mothers, pregnant women, and precaution dose.
