7 more teachers suspended opposing Post Tests under Padho Punjab Padhao Punjab project

Ferozepur February 23, 2019:  Taking a serious note over the statewide protests to disrupt the Post Test project under Padho Punjab, Padhao Punjab in the state, the Education Department has suspended seven more teachers in Zira Block.  Earlier 5 teachers have been suspended in Guruharsahai Block.

Theatrical scenes were witnessed when DEO Ferozepur was locked inside the school and had to be freed after break opening the lock.

The suspension orders of seven teachers issued by Block Primary Education officer Suvinder Kaur for obstructing the Post Tests are Namika, Renu Bala, Sunil Kumar, Surina ETTs, Kamla Rani Education Provider, Neelam Rani AIE Volunteer and iran Balala, ITV Volunteer.

The government is creating a terror among the teachers by suspending few of them but the protest for Post Tests will continue.  Giving a strong warning to the government the protesters said that the agitation will continue till their demands are not accepted.
