32 close contacts of corona +ve patient tested negative

Ferozepur, April 20, 2020: Out of 34 close contacts of Ludhiana corona patient in Ferozepur, 32 has been tested negative in village Wada Bhai, said Deputy Commissioner, Ferozepur, Kulwant Singh. The reports of two samples  awaited.

He said, after surfacing of corona +ve case in Ferozepur at village Wada Bhai, the entire village sealed by making it containment zone.  Primary, high risk contact tracing was done and 34 samples were taken which include the close relative of 27-year-old youth – father 57, mother 50, wife 26 and child of one-two year.  Out of this, 32 reports have been received and all are negative.

In Ferozepur, as many as 156 intensive sampling  was done and sent for testing and all are negative, as per the reports received, said DC.

Sharing about the status of youth in isolation, DC said, the corona positive is healthy.

He said, the danger period of Ferozepur has postponed but has not ended. Meanwhile, Kulwant Singh urged all the people to follow curfew strictly to prevent the spread of this virus.
