32 booked for violating curfew orders in district Ferozepur
Ferozepur- As many as 32 people have been booked in different police stations in Ferozepur district for violating the curfew during previous two days. Mamdot Police also booked two persons for throwing soda water bottles on road in Rao Ke Hithar village.
The District Magistrate had imposed the curfew in the district to prevent any untoward incidence after the conviction of Baba Ram Rahim and to maintain the law and order in the district.
However some people have not been following the curfew orders and have been violating the curfew orders threatening to the peace and harmony in the district. The police has been given directions not to spare anybody that would violate the curfew and cause any threat to the peace and law and order. He told that the police of different police stations booked 32 persons under 188 IPC and 144 section of Indian Penal Code.
Those who had been booked include Ravi Kumar, Naresh Kumar, Mehnga, Nishant, residents of Khatik Mandi Ferozepur Cantt, Chanchal, Gurwinder Singh Kamljeet Singh, Sonu, Nirvair Singh, Gulshan Kumar, Manjit etc.In another case Police Station Mamdot booked two persons who had been identified as Jagdish Singh S/O Dalip Singh and Sarpanch S/O Satta Singh residents of Rao Ke Hitah for picking the throwing bottles on the road.
