Medical trader robbed at gunpoint in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, December 14, 2023: Robbers targeted a medical trader in Ferozepur, decamping with Rs.20,000 in cash, at a gun-point.
The courage of robbers in the city is so high to rob someone, not only at an isolated place or a secluded place but it is good to carry out their work in a crowded place. The increased looting instances have created terror among the people. If someone has to go to a wedding or any other important work, they think twice rather than avoid the event, being afraid of becoming a victim of robbery.
As per the information, last night, a medical businessman Somyan Arora son of Rajesh Arora was returning to his home from some work and reached near the Baghi Road Gurdwara of Ferozepur City when three unidentified robbers on a motorcycle who had their faces covered, threatened the complainant at the point of a pistol with dire consequences and took away his wallet containing Rs.20,000 and mobile phone beside important documents.
According to father Rajesh, an FIR has been registered by the police and full assistance is being provided by the police. The scrutiny of any CCTV on the road may give some clue to nab the accused.
Added here, earlier, on the night of November 25, there was a robbery incident with an electricity board lineman at the same place and the robbery was carried out with a sharp weapon.
