BIS to hold ‘Awareness and Training Camp on HUID in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, August 15, 2022: A jeweller awareness and training camp on Hallmark Unique Identification (HUID) number will be held on August 16 at Grand Hotel from 7 pm to 9 pm on August 16 by Bureau of Indian Standard Chandigarh Branch Number 1
Hallmark Unique Identification (HUID) number is a six digit alphanumeric code consisting of numbers and letters. HUID will be given to every piece of jewellery at the time of hallmarking and it is unique for every piece of jewellery.
Mohit Dhall said, Hallmarking Agent (Nagpur Branch Office – NGBO) presented & explained step by step online procedure for jewellers registration followed by open house session in which various queries raised by the jewellers will be answered to their satisfaction.
