ASI, his wife, and daughter among 5 booked for implicating a person in fake drug trafficking case
Ferozepur, March, 1, 2022: The Ferozepur police have booked 5 persons including one ASI, his wife and daughter for implicating a person in fake drug trafficking case under Section 58(2) of NDPS Act on the complaint of Harjinder Singh and three have been arrested.
The booked persons are Harinder Singh, Sunil Gill of Basti Nizamdin, Hav Yogesh Kumar, Jaswinder Kaur wife of SI Hardev Singh, Navneet Kaur alias Priti daughter of SI Hardev Singh resident of Basti Tankan Wali, Ferozepur Cantt.
As per the information, Harjinder Singh was tried to be implicated through Sunil Gill by SI Hardev Singh Jaswinder Kaur, Navneet Kaur under NDPS Act by placing 630 Tridol and 50 tablets of Tramzan 100 SR in his parked scooter, and intimation was given at the mobile of Hav Yogesh Kumar and sent a photo of the scooter. Then Hav Yogesh Kumar Inspector Baljit Singh along with reader Ramesh Kumar reached the spot and when Harjinder Singh also reached the spot, he was arrested and dickey of scooter was checked and black and white envelope with tablets kept by Sunil Kumar were found.
Mohinder Singh, IO in this case informed that three accused have been arrested namely SI Hardev Singh – wrongly mentioned as Harjinder Singh in the crime report Sunil Gill and Hav Yogesh Kumar. Further investigations are still on.
