Mobile wreckage found inside jail, two inmates booked

Ferozepur, September 14, 2021:  During the surprise checking on Tuesday by Assistant Superintendent Central Jail Satnam Singh, one mobile wreckage was found inside the jail barrack number 8, from the bags of under trial prisoner Ravinder Singh alias Lali and prisoner Lakhwinder Singh.

It looks that the smuggled in mobile has been destroyed after its use with an ulterior motive but its entry inside the jail has put a question mark on the authorities.

A case under Section 52-A Prisons Act has been registered against two inmates already in the jail and further investigations are on with  Gurmit Singh IO.
