English Calligraphy Competition held at Shanti Vidya Mandir
Ferozepur, September 4, 2021: English Calligraphy Competition by Legal Literacy Club was organized at Shanti Vidya Mandir as per the guidelines of Ekta Uppal, CJM, and Dr. Rohit Garg, Advocate, in order to improve presentation skills and to inculcate the habit of good handwriting among students.
The students of 9th to 12th class participated with great zeal, enthusiasm and showed excellent creativity through their writing skills. The students did the calligraphy in good words for their teachers and expressed gratitude towards them.
Good handwriting makes an impression on the reader and the event was held in view of the changing ways of communication due to growing interest in computers. In the era of technology, handwriting skills have been forgotten these days. So to overcome these problems this competition is regularly done on the school premises.
Ekta Uppal honoured the students who excel in calligraphy and lauded the feeling of students towards their teachers. In her address, she said, the mother is the first teacher of a child followed by teachers like parents who inspire, encourage, and guide them to move forward in their life with their love and scolding. The respect for our teachers should always remain in our minds, she added.
