14 Corona +ve reported in Ferozepur, recovered rate 94 percent
Ferozepur, October 28, 2020: With reporting of only 14 Corona positive cases on Wednesday, the tally of positive active cases had gone to 97 with 94 percent recovery rate.
As of today, in total 51,593 samples were taken for testing Coronavirus, out of which 47,383 were tested negative, 4,191 positive, 3,972 recovered, 97 active cases now and no sampling report is pending. However, there had been 122 deaths in the district due to Coronavirus in the district since its outbreak.
The Deputy Commissioner making an appeal to the people said, the only remedy to be safe from coronavirus is follow the medical protocols – wearing a mask, washing hands frequently, maintaining social distance. He said that if anyone has symptoms of Covid- 19, there is no need to be panicky and he should get tested for Coronavirus from the Civil Hospital adding that maintaining the existing status could only be possible with the cooperation of locals.
