SC Commission Chairman visits Ferozepur listen to complaints of SC community
Ferozepur, August 24, 2021: On Tuesday, Senior Vice Chairman, Punjab State Scheduled Caste Commission Deepak Kumar along with members Raj Kumar Hans and Paramjit Kaur visited Ferozepur to listen and resolve the grievance relating to Dalit community.
The first complaint was from Mahinder Pal a resident of village Badhni Jaiman Singh, Kulgarhi police station, who married to Veerpal Kaur with mutual consent and family members being not happy with the decision, set his on fire the house by the girl’sfamily. In another complaint from Gagandeep Kaur of village Mana Singh Wala, who worked in some house alleged that her husband Suhpal Singh was working landlord of village and now trying to clear the debt of Rs.40,000 working at some other place and landlord reached Baghapurana and abused him.
The third complaint is from Lakhwinderpal resident of New Ekta Nagar, Ali K Road, Ferozepur. He alleged that on being blessed with son, he had gone to the market in a car to buy households when he was abused and admitted in the hospital. In the fourth complaint, Rahul, a resident of Gol Bagh, Sokar Canal, Ferozepur, was injured by a villager and FIR was lodged. The X-report result yet to come.
After hearing the total four complaints the Senior Vice Chairman and members directed the concerned authorities to resolve the grievances of the people belonging to various scheduled castes.
