101-year-old Jagtar Singh wins Gold Medals in Master Athletes held at Ferozepur
Ferozepur, December 17, 2023: Like previous years, District Level Master Athletes were held at Cantt Board Sports Stadium and 101-year-old Jagtar Singh won Gold Medals in Javelin Throw and Shot Put.
In the District Level Master Athletes, master athletes from the district participated in this event in which the oldest athlete 101-year-old Jagtar Singh won the Gold Medals in Javelin Throw and Shot Put.
The events of men and women separately were held for 100, 200, and 400 m run, 3 km, and 5 km run, a javelin thrown, shot put, hammer, discus throw, and long jumps.
Dr.Gurinderjit Singh Dhillon President, Ishwar Sharma, General Secretary, Pargat Singh Joint Secretary and Dalip Singh Sandhu, Cashier, and Talwinder Singh said, all the participants, which was more than 100 in numbers, joined the events with great enthusiasm and were in high spirit in the stadium grounds.
Jagtar Singh 101-year old after winning the Gold Medals in his message to the youths said, you must spare some time from your busy schedule of study and work for the sports so that you should remain physically and mentally fit.
