100-Day Awareness Campaign for Women’s Empowerment Progresses Successfully in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, September 6, 2024: The 100-day awareness programme by the Women and Child Development Department, focusing on women-centric issues, is progressing successfully. The Ministry of Women and Child Development (MWCD) launched the “National Workshop on SANKALP: Hub for Empowerment of Women” alongside this special awareness campaign, running from June 21 to October 4, 2024.
Today, as part of the 12th week of Mission Shakti (DHEW), a program was organized at Punjab University Constituent College in village Mohkam Khan Wala by District Coordinator Gurpreet Singh.
The campaign aims to play a pivotal role in promoting women-led development, aligning with the national vision to boost women’s participation in development schemes. Gurpreet Singh emphasized the significance of these efforts in advancing women-led progress.
Present at the event were Principal Dr. N R Sharma, Dr. Rajiv Kumar, Harjinder Singh, Dr. Mandeep Kaur, Maninder Kaur, and SAKHI One Stop Centre Counselor Gurmeet Kaur, along with Para Legal Counselor Manjinder Kaur.
