Pakistan to issue special coin to mark Guru Nanak 550th birthday
Ferozepur, October 9, 2018: Pakistan government is likely to issue a postage stamp to mark the 550th birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. This was disclosed by Minister of Religious Matters Ur Ul Haq Qadri of Pakistan government.
Making this announcement, Qadri said, Pakistan is a peace loving country where due respect is given to the heads of all religions and minorities are also given freedom and awarded the ability to exercise their rights. A green signal has already been given by his cabinet to release the postage stamp on 550th birth celebrations of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
He also announced that Pakistan will also release a currency note with the photograph of Guru Nanak Dev and coin as well for which the matter is under active consideration.
